Be happy!!!

Tuesday, Jan came over to do some card making. We have a card swap on Saturday, so we got creative together. It was nice to have someone to bounce ideas off of and visit with. Usually I have to rely on Ryan, who usually isn't much help with ideas. So, Thank you Jan for making it a great cardmaking afternoon!

HaPPy BiRthDaY ChRis!!!

Today is my father-in-law's birthday. Luckily, I had to make a birthday card. It's been a while since I've done anything. I haven't felt the creative mojo. But once I card started, you couldn't stop me. I made lots of cards and candy boxes. I'm hoping to stay on track and start doing more. My card swap group is meeting again this month, so I have a reason to stay productive.

I have to admit, I borrowed this card idea from my friend Rhonda Shurtleff. It's a fun pop-up card. Rhonda used it for a birthday party invitation. I'm also thinking I may use it for my Christmas Card. I'd pop up my family pic. We'll see, I still have a month before I start them.

Hopefully, I will see all of you at our party tomorrow night. If possible, please bring a bone-folder. We're folding a lot!

Card: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Pop-up
Stamps: Party Hearty
Inks: Versamark, Night of Navy, Old Olive
Paper: Patterned Paper (Pebbles), Cardstock (Bazille)
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder
